How can we help you?

Whether you are looking for a new dental office because you are new to the Murfreesboro area or you just want a new dental home that will provide comprehensive dental care to your entire family, we welcome you to give us a call or come by.

You probably have a number of questions about the types of services we provide, insurance coverage, or what you can expect when you come in for your first dental visit. Some of our most frequently asked questions are listed below.

If you do not see yours on the list, just give us a quick call. One of our team members will be happy to help.

We are in-network with most major dental insurance companies and do our best to make sure you get the full advantage of the dental insurance you pay for. There are, however, some companies that we are out-of-network with.

In those instances, you can still use your dental insurance benefits at our office. We are happy to file all insurance claims, documentation, x-rays, and any necessary narratives on your behalf so you can receive the maximum benefit from your plan. Most insurance companies send payments directly to our office so you can receive treatment in the most hassle-free manner possible.

We know that the families in our dental practice have budgets. We are always up-front with our costs, treatment recommendations, insurance estimates, and out-of-pocket expenses so you can plan accordingly in your budget. Every insurance plan is different, but if you call our team and give them your insurance information, they will be able to research your benefits and go over them with you.

In the event that you do incur out-of-pocket expenses, we can help you with options! We accept credit cards and offer financing through CareCredit so that you can break down your payment over time.

Dental insurance covers most procedures in some way, but is not necessarily a catch-all for dental costs. We do extensive research into each patient's dental insurance policy to help us estimate the amount your insurance will cover and the amount that you will be responsible for prior to each appointment.

To help us, you should bring your insurance card to your dental appointment and we will help determine your out-of-pocket expense. For large treatment plans or cosmetic dentistry, you should remember that dental insurance often has maximum limits and deductibles. Plus, it will not cover procedures considered solely cosmetic. Many cosmetic treatments also provide health benefits as well, however, and we will help you maximize your benefits whenever possible.

For patients who do incur an out-of-pocket expense, we offer flexible payment options and even offer patient financing so you can get the care you need to stay healthy. Putting off your dentistry will often create the need for more complex treatments in the future.

If you have questions about your personal dental insurance benefits, our knowledgeable team is here to help. Just give us a call and we will be happy to go over costs, treatment options, and payment options. No one likes surprises when it comes to finances!

Cosmetic Dentistry

We hear this question often.

While we do strive to keep our fees competitive, we have no desire to provide the least expensive treatment in town. Our office strives to provide the best treatment in town and at a reasonable price.

If you shop around, you will find that we are not the lowest price. We set our fees in a way that allows us to treat patients with the same supplies and labs that we would want to be treated with ourselves. Since your dentistry is an investment in your smile and your health, we want to use the materials and dental lab that will give you long-lasting results. Sometimes that makes our fees higher, and sometimes it makes them lower than surrounding offices. Either way, it's almost impossible to give you a quote for a specific procedure without determining what you need.

The first step would be for Dr. Leech to evaluate your area of concern and then give you an idea of what treatment he feels is appropriate. In some cases, he may offer several options for treatment and you can make a choice based on your lifestyle and your goals for your smile.

We are up-front with fees and help our patients plan their treatment in a way that they can afford and be thrilled with the final result.

Dr. Leech provides exceptional results in all aspects of cosmetic dentistry.

One type of cosmetic dentistry he proudly offers is both effective and affordable: cosmetic dental bonding. He has a great amount of experience in cosmetic bonding and offers many patients a more affordable alternative to porcelain restorations.

Composite Resin Veneers

If patients want to improve the appearance of their smiles, but cannot afford – or want an alternative to – porcelain veneers, Dr. Leech can expertly design the more affordable composite veneers out of the same material we use for dental fillings. Composite comes in a wide range of shades to provide you with a natural look, and when created correctly, composite veneers can improve your smile and provide longevity.

Dental Bonding

If you have misshapen teeth, chips, or gaps between your teeth, Dr. Leech can use composite to build upon your natural tooth structure and make improvements to your smile. Because dental bonding looks very natural, the untrained eye will never know that you have had dental work done. This treatment opens the door for many patients to enjoy the benefits of cosmetic dentistry without the expensive prep work and costs associated with full porcelain restorations.

If you want to improve your smile on a budget, give us a call.

Dentures & Partials

For some patients, finding a dentist to create dentures that fit well and look natural is tough to do, but having an attractive denture that stays put when you need it most is important!

An ill-fitting denture can cause sores, make it impossible to eat, and even cause embarrassing moments when you speak and laugh. This can negatively impact your quality of life and your overall health. Dr. Leech knows how important it is for our denture patients to have reliable dentures. He takes great pride in creating dentures that fit our patients well and add confidence.

In some cases, patients have significant bone loss, making dentures a less suitable option. We can help. By placing a few dental implants into your upper or lower arch, we can design dentures that lock into place and use your dental implants as an anchor to hold it in place. Because implant-supported dentures lock in, they stay put when you eat, talk, laugh, and yawn. Not only does this provide additional confidence for our patients, it also helps broaden their nutrition options by making more foods accessible.

If you feel frustrated about your ill-fitting dentures, give us a call. Dr. Leech is happy to help you find a solution that improves your quality of life!

General Dentistry

Yes! We welcome our patients to bring their children to our office. We perform services that range from preventative treatment to extractions required to keep your little one's smile healthy and comfortable.

Children should make their first trip to the dentist by the time they have their first tooth or by their first birthday, according to the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. We make your child's experience a positive one by making their dental appointments fun, educational, and interactive. We provide cooperative kids with the care they need to stay healthy and make dentistry a welcome part of their overall health routine.

Some examples when we might refer your child to a pediatric dentist includes patients requiring extensive treatment, difficulty cooperating, or having extreme anxiety. Our goal is to always provide what's best for the patient. In the event that your child requires a referral to a pediatric dentist, we will always recommend one of our trusted colleagues and follow up to make sure that their treatment went well. We want what is best for your little ones!

We know that your children are important to you and invite your questions! Contact us to learn more about children's dentistry.
