Frequently Asked Questions

We are in-network with most major dental insurance companies and do our best to make sure you get the full advantage of the dental insurance you pay for. There are, however, some companies that we are out-of-network with.

In those instances, you can still use your dental insurance benefits at our office. We are happy to file all insurance claims, documentation, x-rays, and any necessary narratives on your behalf so you can receive the maximum benefit from your plan. Most insurance companies send payments directly to our office so you can receive treatment in the most hassle-free manner possible.

We know that the families in our dental practice have budgets. We are always up-front with our costs, treatment recommendations, insurance estimates, and out-of-pocket expenses so you can plan accordingly in your budget. Every insurance plan is different, but if you call our team and give them your insurance information, they will be able to research your benefits and go over them with you.

In the event that you do incur out-of-pocket expenses, we can help you with options! We accept credit cards and offer financing through CareCredit so that you can break down your payment over time.

Dental insurance covers most procedures in some way, but is not necessarily a catch-all for dental costs. We do extensive research into each patient's dental insurance policy to help us estimate the amount your insurance will cover and the amount that you will be responsible for prior to each appointment.

To help us, you should bring your insurance card to your dental appointment and we will help determine your out-of-pocket expense. For large treatment plans or cosmetic dentistry, you should remember that dental insurance often has maximum limits and deductibles. Plus, it will not cover procedures considered solely cosmetic. Many cosmetic treatments also provide health benefits as well, however, and we will help you maximize your benefits whenever possible.

For patients who do incur an out-of-pocket expense, we offer flexible payment options and even offer patient financing so you can get the care you need to stay healthy. Putting off your dentistry will often create the need for more complex treatments in the future.

If you have questions about your personal dental insurance benefits, our knowledgeable team is here to help. Just give us a call and we will be happy to go over costs, treatment options, and payment options. No one likes surprises when it comes to finances!
